new and having issues
Hey, everyone whats up?. I just bought a honda engine with engine code mdose-5000938 or the last 3 numbers might be 138. I know its a honda engine but I can't seem to find anything else about the engine online. Does anyone know where I can find an engine docoder? Thanks for all of everyones help.

I'll see what I can find, but you might just want to call your closest Honda dealer and see if they can give you more information.

Gotta run buy the dealer and get a part for my bike. Just happen to sell Honda's there as well, so I'll take the info with me and see what they say.

Parts guy took the code and did some checking, couldn't find anything pertaining to Honda or Kawasaki. (also a Kawi dealer) Took it to the service department and they said it's not a Honda engine code.
Does it actually say Honda on the motor? They're thinking it's a clone.
