another new guy
hey there,
so i went out to my grage the other to to work on my Jeep and i relized i don't have the money to do what i want right now.
well being that i'm brand new to the gearhead life and i just got done watching fast and furious i wanted to wrench on something.
i looked over to the corner of my garage and staring back at me was my old 1986 suzuki 230 LT shaft drive.
this girl is in bad shap. all plastics off and hanging from my rafters, she spent 4 winters with no coverage in northern MN.
honestly i doubted she would even be able run. but what the hell.
hooked up the jeep battery switch the ignition to one and the green nutral green nutral light shined brightly. that was a good sign.
so onword we go pushed the switch to run and held down the start button. what do you know she cranks over.
after about 10-15 cranks it's ovious theres a starting problem. so lets do it the old way, drained some gas out sprayed in the carburator and BOOM she fire and turned and rattled and ran for about 20 secs.
scared the crap outta me but hey there's hope she fires and runs kinda.
so now i'm here cause i'm going to restore this girl and get her back to the fun life i had with it so long ago.
