Hey guys, I am new to the forum and wanted to say a quick hello. I have never really been into the atv game but i decided i wanted to give it a go this summer. I wanted to pick up a project and purchased a 2000 kodiak ultramatic 4x4 that had been sitting in a garage for three years. It had electrical problems and needed brakes and front wheel bearings. I changed the CDI, stator and ignition coil (found great deal on used parts) and turned out to be the ignition coil and now runs like a champ. I also stripped the old green faded plastic and replaced with newish Red and painted up the racks and she looks great. Changing out the breaks and bearings this week and just ordered a 2 inch lift kit off ebay. Also looking at getting some 26 or 27 tires on it and maybe some itp rims, along with a box and windshield and faring.

Ill post some pics soon so you can see the transformation. I look forward to all your input and advice as I get more into it.
