sorry to jump stright in here, but at the min I am in the pooooo with my thing, not sure what the hell is going on.

I have the JS mountian lion 400 (jianshe,) first quad i ahve had, got to help cear the snow in the winter in the main. anyway, I think its a 2007 version with about 2800 Kil-o on the clock.

I am after an online handbook or user manual for the 400cc mountain lion. Just picked up a second hand one and know nothing abut them. As I am having trouble with the semi Auto gear box! I can select 0,1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and down again without too much of a problem. I can even turn the switch and select reverse no problem. But unless I turn the engine off before selceting to go forward again even when stopped, the only way I can get her to go forward ( or select forward) when reverse is selected is to reach down with my hand and yank the stupid gear lever up, but I can't do it using my foot just far too hard. But if the engine is turned off, but ign is left on, she goes through the gears reverse as well, no problem at all, so I am thinking what the hell is going on here, or am I just doing something wrong ? The oil filler cap at the top of casing I have now put 2.5 lit of 10/40 oil semi syth, in, thinking it must be low on oil in the smi auto box. Nothing, made no differnece to it at all.
Any ideas from someone who may have had the same or similar broblem with theirs. Or, any good ATV mech's about could give us some idea what I am up against here, thanks...

Hooo dear, just read your rules and messed up already, no question on this area, not bad for day one with screw up (1) on day one too.. No doubt will get my *** kicked now I expect!!!
