I am new to this forum and first time owner of the atv. I grew up with Polaris my uncle is the one who own a black Polaris magnum 4x4 and we use it on the ranch all of the time and my dad have two atv one 2002 yamaha grizzly 4x4 and 200 honda foreman 4x4. Fast forward to today I have own 8 different of jet ski and two late 1970's Yamaha dirt digger. I bought my first atv last night and the deal was too good to pass, at first I was told its 1998 but after I bought it and took to home I found the yellow shop receipt that clearly said 1996 but what done is done I not going to crying I paid 200 for it and beside I am sucker for USA made . To be exactly its 1996 Polaris sportsman 500 4x4 4 stroke the starter drive broke off damaged starter unit all it need is starter drive and starter cust and pull start cover that all. Hope I did good for 200 dollar she has brand new ITP front mud lite tires, new cv joint rear and uni air filter and winch add on front.
