Hello, what a great help forum: My name is Scott Hall, live in Nashvile, TN area, just bought a used nerf dog dune buggy and need help advice. getting poor spark-at least looks bad even with new plug, 90 CC 2 stroke with elec and kick star, push buttonstart, only ran a few times andseemed like was flooded and tested elec choke and it is bad, want to get c omplete new ignition system with matching parts as cant find replacement DC CDI as from what I hear I shoul dchangte that first, also read clip here on coil and my primary reads 3 ohms and secondary 2000 ohms-I believe that is bad?, my DCI is 4 wire and one wire hooks to positive of battery, dont want to parts change. all the manuals I have read tell how to test DCI but only for AC. trying to get matching set DCI, Coil, Stator/magneto. My question I guess is must al three be be paired with each other, must I get a stator/magneto that matches the CDI or must the coil and CDI only have to match. Should I stay with DC or go to AC DCI. Last money is tight and I can find a complete new 150 CC GY6 for $350. Is it better just to change out-go from a 90CC 2 stroke to a 150CC 4 stroke and if anyone knows how much bigger is it-I do have about 6 inches of additional space each for L, W and H
