Hey Hey
Just joined your outstanding and extremely well informed forum. I recently purchased a 125cc tao tao atv that was sadly abused and put away wet way too many times. It's only about a year old yet was so beat up it might as well have been 20 years old. I have repaired the damage and made it look brand new again but after replacing everything I can get no spark, period. Totally baffleing me atm. I have sought advice and will probably poke the forum in the future for other helpful bits of info and guidance.
Anyway a bit about me, I'm retired US Navy 24 years active. 3 tours in Viet Nam and 2 in Iraq, Kuwait during desert storm. Married 28 years last August. Just me and the wife at home. I'm way too old to do kids these days, even though I act like one myself. I enjoy anything that makes life fun as its way too short not too and besides it's a one way trip if you don't enjoy it while you are here you never will. We have a 1966 Shelby 427 A/C Cobra that we dearly love and show all over the country. It's on you-tube several times, on a calander in Europe, "spokes" vehicle for a local glass company, and XFT fuel treatment out of Colorado. We have probably 150 trophies from various shows with it and we drive it whenever we can. We also fished professionally for BASS while in Missouri for several years.
I bought the atv to get up and down the looooooooooooong steep driveway we have to get the mail and take the garbage cans up so they can pick them up. Its actually too small to do any serious backwoods running with, for me anyway and I don't wish to tear it up like the previous owners did. One day maybe I will get a bigger one and do some crazy trail riding. Right now though I would just like to get it actually running. I have spent tons of hours, blood, sweat and tears on it and it would be real sad if I've done all that for nothing. Any questions you guys have feel free to ask away and I will try to answer them. Not having much luck with the atv but trust me I have been around the block many times on more subjects than I can count. Take care for now, stay safe and enjoy life... there are no do-overs.
