Hello everyone! Just signed up and looking forward to reading lots of posts. My grandson has a Chinese 2005 SunL ATV 110cc and my son asked me to get it running. It hasn't ran for years, so I cleaned the gas tank and carburetor, oiled the drive chain, changed the crankcase oil, squirted some oil into the spark plug hole and gave it a try...nothing. Checked for spark and had none, so I found the tether switch was closed and just cut it off, since it is a N/O switch and she fired up and ran, but kinda rough still. Now I am considering checking out the valve clearance and clutch adjustment to finish checking all the bases.

Well, I checked the valve lash and there was none, so I adjusted both, but it has been too cold to go out and see how much better it runs. I know it will be way better than before.

 

Where at in Colorado are you from? If I may ask..
