Hello, I used to be in the atv world when I was younger. Quit due to lack of money and lost my passion. Been working on two car builds and I ran out of things to do for a while. So while playing on Criaglist. I ran across these new "Chinese Quads". I picked up a Tao Tao 250cc for 600 bucks with couple miles on it. Also a buyang? 110cc.
I have seen these quads take little know how and you got to want to turn a wrench or two. I don't mind trail riding and setting down on the trail and work on it. Parts are cheap I paid 1000 for both of them.
My main question for now would be how many links should the chain be on the 250. It would stall on small hills and yes I do drive my atv like I stole it. Guessing I need a smaller front sprocket so I order 13 for the 250 since it had a 40 tooth rear. I order a 12 for the 110cc for lack of power on low end.
Like to know which rims can I place on these atv or tips and sites to any info would be greatful
