Question any tips to get a atv to start after being stored

My brother has asked me to get his two moose tracker 500 cc 4x4 atv ready to take hunting for him. They have been sitting for over a year, is there any i should do to them before I try to start them other than I have already changed motor oil and charged the battery? any tips or suggestions would be a great help

I would recommend draining out the gas. Sitting for a year (probably without fuel stabilizer) could cause the gas to gel and mess up the carb. If it has a fuel filter, I'd consider changing that too. Maybe check the spark plugs too. Make sure they're good and clean.

Yeah, check the fuel tank. Hopefully it is empty. If not drain the fuel, replace with fresh fuel and check the fuel filter. Won't hurt to check the plugs either. Pretty much do what MooseHenden said .
