Default Hello and Help....Please ! Thank you all!!

I m new to the forum and am looking for your help. I purchased a used farm pro raider utv (same as a yerf dog scout) 150cc gy6. when I got it ran ok reverse worked fine but it wouldn't not hardly pull in forward. I bought a new motor and trans combo had it installed. runs great but still no forward but has reverse. When shifting into reverse it does great pulls like a tank. Shift to forward and it still moves back 5-6ft before it pops into forward. When in foward it just bogs out or pops and jerks. Since the old one and new one both did the samething I figure it has to be the shifting cable or something. Any help is greatly appreciated. THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to the forums.. Does it have any sort of limiting module? If it does it could be the problem.Best to ask any future questions in the appropriate forum for your machine.

Default thank you.

No it doesn't have a limiter I can find. I had a yamaha that had on before I just straight wired and took care of. Haven't found one on this one.

looked at the chinese section. Others had similar problems but did see any solutions. That doesn't bode well does it now. I may have fell in the money pit.

Default THanks you guys!

Finally got it fixed. Bad set of rollers was the problem. Easy to change hard to remount the motor. Now I know and knowledge is the key.
