95 Polaris 400 Explorer
#1
Hi guys,
Maybe you can help.
I have a 95 explorer and can't get any spark. I've changed coil, new plug and checked all wiring. Are there fusible links on this thing?
I spoke to dealer and told me that CDI units very seldom burn out, but there is no way to test them..??
I rebuilt engine about a year ago, and has been running fine. Shut it off one day and next it wouldn't start. Any suggestions or help....Please

I've tested all of that, kill switch, ignition switch. I get power to CDI unit (12 v) and power to all other areas i.e. head lights, tail lights.
Do CDI units burn out periodically?

How does the throttle feel?Have you checked the ETC on the throttle? It could be stuck.
And the CDIs do go bad but not often.
