Hey there everyone, I've been lurking around for a bit just doing some reading. I'm impressed with the information available here.
I myself have 1 ATV, it's a 2006 Polaris X2. I got this particular "ride" due to the information that I gathered from this site... Thanks everyone
The Polaris has mostly been used by myself and a little bit by my wife on a horse ranch that we are part owners in. I'm now looking to expand the fleet from 1 to "more" due to my expanding family.

I'm looking mainly on bang for your buck for under 3500. There is a Honda dealer in town that takes them on trade from the ranchers. There is a 2006 Rancher 400 that he did an engine rebuild, went through the whole bike and put new tires on it. He wants 2900. It's a bit weather worn but in great mechanical condition.
I also was looking at a 1998 Polaris sportsman 500 for 2800. It will be an issue fitting into the bed of my Ram 2500 with the tailgate up. I'm pulling a cargo trailer with my other ATV in it so the gate has to be up. The other problem is that 500 has noticeably more power and it's or my kids. The rancher goes plenty fast.
Any ideas
