Default FNG with my first ATV

Hey guys and gals, I just recently picked up my first atv from a cousin. He told me it wasn't running and I could take it for free to clear room in his garage. It's a 1991 Suzuki LT80 Quadsport and all I had to do was replace the carburetor, replace the petcock and fix some wiring before it fired right up. After riding it almost nonstop for the past week I ordered a top engine kit, new cooling fan and wheel spacers. Now the quad is disassembled while I rebuild the top end.

After installing the front spacers, reversing all four wheels and installing a small driving light...

Now here's where I'm at...

This being my first atv - should I be worried about the heat discoloration on the clutch?

I also have a feeling this is why the head gasket went bad...

Welcome to the forums.

Good deal on the quad. Built up right, they can really fly for a small one.
