Default new retired guy with Grizzly 700

Hi , my name is Jim. I live about 40 minutes North of Hollister Hills in California. I am retired now and am interested in going trail riding on the Rubicon in Tahoe. I own a Grizzly 700. If there are any other retired guys (my wife said no girls)LOL.. who are in my area and have a club or organized trips to the Rubicon I would like to join in if possible. Thanks, Jim

Default thanks for the replys

ya, everyone seems to live too far away. My wife quads with me but she doesn't want to go as often as I do. I have a Grizzly 700 and two Grizzly 660's. I would like to start taking people, (Charge a small fee) who don't have a quad to the Rubicon trails. My wife and I just got back. It was amazing. It's my favorite place to go! Being retired at 57 leaves me with a lot of time to go but my wife doesn't want me going alone. She enjoyed it because we took a SPOT satellite device that can call for help with just a push of a button. It knows our GPS location if we need help. It made her feel much safer. I would like to join a 4x4 atv club but they are all about 2 hours away from where I live in Santa Cruz CA.

Sounds like you have the time on your hands, I would join a club for sure. Riding alone sucks anyway

I wish I lived closer, would love to ride the Rubicon trail. I'm closer to Hatfield-McCoy system but still several hundred miles from there as well.

Welcome to the forums.

Try mentioning where you live and where you want to go riding in the "Where to Ride" section of the forums. I know there are others from Cal. on the forum.
