got 2009 sportsman 500 ho running hot..Rebuilt water pump,put in new thermostat,and new radiator..Still runs hot....help

Does the fan kick on? If not,could be a sensor problem. If it does kick on but still over heats,could be trapped air which was a common problem. On this it's best to lift the front wheels off the ground,leave the radiator cap off and let the fan cycle on and off several times to remove any trapped air. Make take a little while to do this.

Put new fan on it and wired it to run all the time..I've done everything I can think of,but still runs hot...

I think you have an air lock. Try jacking the rear wheels up to put the front down, see if you can get it to take more antifreeze. I once owned a Polaris, never again. My Arctic Cats are reliable as a Corolla. Maybe I got a bad Polaris, but it left a really bad taste in my mouth.

Mr. Old Polaris Tech,Sportsman 500 still running hot,burped it with wheels up for 45 min.Have tore it back down..Blew air thru water jacket from water pump to thermostat ,it was clear..All hoes are clear..But the water pump impellar will turn on the shaft withhot the motor running,is this normal...

You right,I would'nt trade my 500 Foreman for a trailer load of these.
