Ok so after some phone calls to mikuni and a couple of other companies the vm26-606 is the closest replacement. The big difference between the two is the size of the actual carb. The body of the carb is longer than the vm26ss model and the fact that the jetting is off a little but apparently not enough to make a noticeable difference. So thank you for all the help
