HI guys!!
I am new on here but I NEED your guys help !! I did some thing really Stupid . I have a 1999 Yamaha wolverine 350 4x4 . it was running fine. I took the battery out cause it was dead to charge it. and when I put it back in I wasn't paying attention and hooked the post up backwards.. well it blew one fuse and I changed that one . But now it will barely runs (wont rev up and it back fires) what all could have I damaged doing that ? CDI box? maybe . seems like the timing is off the way It is running now

Hello from Colorado. Welcome to ATV Connection. Try posting your good problem description on the Brand Discussions and then Yamaha section of these forums. I bet there are others who have done the same thing and can guide you on what "damage" was done. I hope not much.
I did that once and smelled electrical smoke. Turns out there was a fusible wire designed to burn through protecting me from my error. Now days they have different diameter battery posts to help prevent this type of human error.
