just recently purchased a 2003 kfx 400. I am a younger and looking to know a little more about quads. I know the basics but i have been having some trouble with my quad. Just looking for a place to talk with other riders.

 

Well, you found the right website to talk about your new racer and the hobby in general. I've learned a lot reading threads here. Maybe you can find your ATV model in the brand discussion area and then stay up all night reading all there is to read about the machine.

The kfx was just a rebadged ltz. Nothing bad about that, I had a 2006. The 2003 models were known to have frame issues. They used to make gusset kits to fix the problem. Even if yours doesn't, I'd recommend putting the kit on if you're doing some serious racing.
