My Arctic Cat 700 Diesel hit 51 mph, downhill with a slight tailwind! 28" tires. 43-45 on flat road. Hits the governor at 4300 rpms.

Yup, actually Lombardini/Kohler has a governor spring for 4,500 rpms. Even with the turbocharger and intercooler, power falls off once you hit 40 mph. It's quick up to 35 mph, then lazy above 35. Torque, however is excellent. It will hit 35 in Low !
