Default Yamaha timberwolf 4wd tansfer box removal!!

Hi guys, glad to be on here and hope you are all well!!
I am trying to replace an oil seal in my transfer box and so far have removed the swing arm and undone the retaining bolts covered by the large rubber boot that secure the transfer box to the engine block!
now I am stuck. Do I have to break the u joints in situ to be able to get the front driveshaft out and do I need to do the same on the rear that connects to the swing arm?
the transfer box is loose but I cant see how to remove the front drivèshaft.
any tips would be great and much appreciated.
kind regards.
craig.
I can attach some pics if that helps.
cheers

If you plan on keeping the machine get yourself a factory service manual to help you thru these repairs. You will find them very valuable for the few dollars they cost.
