Hi my name is Addie, I am interested in opening a small ATV park but dont know what to do. I have 98 acres in Northeastern Tennessee. I saw in another persons post to contact a Brian Mills. How would I go about doing so. It also said there may be money from state or federal funding? Maybe I got that part wrong. Anyway, if someone could advise I would greatly appreciate it. Wish I could answer your questions completely but have very few answers. Good first steps would be to talk to your local town hall about whether or not what you are proposing would be allowed. They would probably be able to give you an idea of what direction to go as far as permitting goes on the town, county, state, and federal level. If waterways are constructed, or in any way changed the permitting might require EPA approval too. I'm just talking about possibilities of government you may have to deal with. If it's just something to have fun with friends you could probably get away with it without getting the government involved. Bodies of water are always a concern these days as what you might do upstream affects the people downstream.

I haven't seen any Brian Mills on this forum and I've been here a good long time. Name just doesn't ring a bell.
