Hello everyone , I'm hoping to help when I can. Thank you for allowing me to join. I have a
06 Sportsman 500 X2. Can I use a 09 sportsman 800 transmission in my vehicle without damaging my engine ? The gearing is different

Without checking, I'd say no for it being a direct swap. Time, money and duct tape can fix anything though.
