Default 09 Sportsman 800 Touring

Well, I got the opportunity to pull the trigger on this brand '09 Sportsman 800 Touring for a great price, and the dealer took my '07 Sportsman 800 X2 in on trade. I came upon this transaction due to dealer overstock, the ATV was still in the crate. Tomorrow will put the Rock Sliderzz, and Brush guard on, and also will order that 4500LB winch (winch thread) that has received excellent reviews from the members on this site tomorrow. Also, any ideas on skid plate for underneath? Went to Ricochet, and seen up to 2008 for parts.

Yah, sure hope I get the same reliability as I received on my '07 800 X2.

I got my new 09' 800 Touring this past winter for about the same as most dealers were selling their 500 Sportsman's for. It is a great quad! There is nothing like a good deal!

Did you put a skid plate underneath? If so, may I inquire on brand?

No, I don't have an aftermarket skid plate on it.

Any aftermarket companies offer protection for underneath, i.e. skid plate, like you see on the Ricochet website?
