Default Need some help

I’m struggling with my 04 foreman 450. I don’t know what’s going on with my 450. Was having trouble starting check valve good, new carb, new spark plug, good compression, good fuel flow. Now starts but misfires and won’t idle with the air box lid on. Any thoughts? Help here.

When you say new carb...is this an aftermarket carb? Best to rebuild original with a quality rebuild kit and set to factory specs.

yes it’s an oem specs aftermarket carb. I got it started. It was just having trouble idling. I had an aftermarket carb and was working fine. Opened the front case and found out that it jumped time. Chain is to lose. Ordered a new one wiseco brand. Just waiting on it to assemble. Let you know if it works after that.
