Default Howdy from Ceciltucky!

Howdy y'all!

Stopped by looking for help finding a Chinese Quad for my soon to be 10yo boy.

Yesterday, we were over at a friends who had a Yamaha 125 Grizzly and it was a bit too large for him, especially since he had never ridden before. I was told a 90 would probably be perfect for him, but it seems they don't really make Chinese 90's. When I started looking at Chinese 125s and watching some videos, they looked tiny. In one video a 13yo's foot barely fit for him to work the foot brake.

Can someone tell me how these Chinese Quads compare in size? Are the 125's large enough or should I be looking at a Chinese 200? I'd like to get some something he can use into middle school..

BTW, part of the reason I'm doing this is because all my kid wants to do is play video games.,. I'd like to get him out and I figure a Chinese Quad may be perfect. Not just for my pockets, but also get him to learn some mechanical stuff like maintenance and how to possible repair some things... Hahaha.. He's terrified but I think I'm going to tech him how to weld in another year or too.

Dont waste your money on something you cant get parts, information or help for. Numerous folks on these forums looking for parts and information, some waiting months with still no response. Find somwthing that has support and backup or wait until he gets bigger

Welcome. As said, I would avoid the Chinese quads like the plague. I stupidly bought a 110 and it was a bear to keep it running. Parts were hard to find and there were no manuals for the machines.
