Tips for making trails..
#2
Nice to have enough land to consider your own trail. I have a few acers for a trail but keep in mind maintence, it becomes alot more than you think!. Publis trails that are frequently used stay clear but orivate trails only used ocassionally grow over quickly. My less than half mile of trails takes far more wok than I ever anticipated when I started.

Depends on what you want to do. If you don't have a loader/backhoe at your disposal, terrain will dictate where the trail goes. If you have streams or mudholes it depends on your machine's abilities whether you can get through or will have to reroute around them. Trails mostly require a chainsaw to clear the path and keep it cleared. You can also make obstacles out of logs if you want a challenge.
