I am having problems with my 2007 Sportsman 500 HO EFI it is like new.
Maybe 300 miles on it? I use it to plow snow with.
My problem is that it will not idle and backfires then quits. It has been in storage for six months or more.
I siphoned out the old fuel and put new fuel back in along with SeaFoam/mix. It did start on its own and let me milk it from storage trailer to my shop, then it got worse/will not stay running. It will not start or stay running without starting fluid, It tries to run then bogs out when I move throttle then backfires and and quits. Spark plug is black. Display will not produce code. Just says CkEngine/with wrench flashing. I have checked the throttle on the handle bar and readjusted to correct position. I replaced TBAP sensor/ that did nothing. I see two other sensors on intake but cannot get information on what they are called nor a part number that is on them.
I cannot see any visual wire damage.
