Thanks for the help

I have a Chinese Tao raptor 200 for work around our property. Worked great for the first 23 miles. Then it didn’t want to start. I was perplexed with it being so new thinking you bought a cheap piece of **** You dumb ***! Well I walked away from it for about a year. I decided to figure out what was wrong so first thing I did was to pull the dipstick. I was then covered in oil from pressure in the crankcase. Thinking it was bypass from the rings I walked away from it for another six months. While researching the problem I ran across this site. While reading through the forums I was able to get some tips on what to check. Spark, fuel, compression, and the biggest help valve adjustment. So carb was a pos from the beginning, you couldn’t take it apart to rebuild without drilling and tapping. Ordered a new carb changed the oil got rid of the check valve between the crankcase and adjusted the valves and boom fired right up. I now have 27 miles on it! Thanks to gotten and others for the help. That’s why I’m now a member of this site!
