After focusing on trail/enduro bikes (vintage: Suzuki PE400, Yamaha IT400, and more modern: KTM 620SX, Husaberg TE250) and adventure bikes (Triumph Tiger 800XC, KTM 950 Adventure) for the last 20 years, I now find myself with an ATC and a Quad again.

Last year I bought a 1989 Yamaha Big Bear 350 4x4 to help with chores on the property. And - for fun - I picked up a 1982 ATC 250R. The Big Bear was a non-runner in bad shape - it's now running well and definitely useful for land maintenance.

The Honda 250R runs great and is in overall good shape, although someone put an ASTRO Quad conversion kit on it back in the 80's. I've been gathering parts to remove that and make it a trike again. An easy, fun project...though I will admit that it's pretty fun as a Quad - makes me laugh every time I ride it.

Overall, I must say I'm enjoying being back in the ATV world.
