I have a 2008 3010 trans diesel and a cd-rom service manual that shows a backup switch and associated wiring. I physically cannot locate either. Can anyone help?

I just bought a 3010 diesel 4x4 and didn`t know if it had a backup switch or not, but since you`ve posted your question I`m gonna find out. The first place that I`m going to look is where the shifter is mounted. If there is an unused switch there I think one could be fairly certain it would be for backup lights, especially if it is on the reverse side of the shifter. Butch

An additional question.
Where did you get your cd-rom from and will it work on a laptop computer? Also how much did you pay for it. Did you check on the availability of the printed service manual and the price for it?

I purchased the cd-rom on e-bay. I believe it was around 6 or 7 dollars vs considerably more for a printed version. You should be able to locate it rather easily if you do a search on e-bay.
