Default hi pro clutch kit for the V700?

The kit includes a black secondary spring and a red primary spring along with some different weights.

What I noticed with mine is that it seemed to take more and more revs to get the clutch to engage. I ran it hard this weekend racing and I really didn't notice it getting worse until the second day. You shouldn't have to give it a third throttle to get the clutch to engage. Putting the stock spring back in there seems to bring it back to normal. I'm not sure what started making it act up. It was fine for the first week I had it in there...

THEY SENT ME A BLACK spring with 2 sets of weights a set of fast ramp 56grams and a set of fast ramp 58 grams the stock are 58 grams but the spring weights are way slow they said to start with the 56 and with nitrous go to the 58 and they said they may want to be splitted 1/2 56 and 1/2 58 or 1/2 stock and 1/2 56or 58 i will play with them some in 300 feet and check the mph to see the increase or decrease i will know a good setup in a week i will repost the results as soon as i get a good combo the stock spring and a set of fast ramp 56 gram weights works well locks up very soon.

Do you guys recommend that I ring out all the HP (with pipes, jetting, air, etc.) in the V-Fore FIRST, before I start changing the clutch springs? It seems to me that the clutch engagement to power output is a little scientific and could change as I modify the power output of the engine.

No squeak issue that I know of. I might have to listen extra carefully just to be sure now. I am leaving the black spring and the weights in for now. How many hours do you have on your 700?

Im not real sure on the hours, but I have ran about 5 tanks of gas through it. I went through a tank yesterday with the clutch kit in, I have the weights and the black spring in, it engages hard but doesnt rev up as high. I think tommorow Im gonna put the stock weights back in it and see how it does.

Let me know how it turns out and I may do that as well. I need to figure something out to get more power because I kept losing to a piped Predator in a sand race. We were both running our stock rear tires.

Could anyone email me or post some photos of the removal/installation process of the clutch springs?

Thanks
