KFX 700

How bout the reliability of the new 700. Any problems? I have heard alot of good things about it as far as fun factor of riding and I think it would suit my riding style, but you guys know how a first year Quad goes. Always has a few bugs to work out.

Well first off i think the 700 is a great overall. Only bad thing for me was the overall weight of the bike when racing local harescrambles. Now Ive got a Problem though...Went to take off the plastic to clean it up yesterday and noticed the rear motor mounts are both broken free of the frame...Took it to the local shop i bought it from Saturday and they said they would have to make a call tuesday to Kawasaki and in the mean time they said the frames were on back-order anyway....then suggested me to have it welded somewhere...I was planning on running the next GNCC which is next saturday and i didnt pay $6800 with taxes for a bike ive only riden 4 times to have it break already...So now i hope Kawasaki steps up and takes care of there claimed woods racing machine and keep me as a customer.

There's an older thread that discusses bent tie-rod ends. I also remember reading the editorial of one of the ATV mags (ATV Action maybe?) that mentions that the editor also bent one at a GNCC race. Team Green has been replacing them at the races if they get bent.
I'm saying this all from memory.....
My 700 is just broken in. I'll be racing it on June 7 at a local desert race.
