Anyone have any info or opinion on the dual exhaust system for the V-Force from DMC?Alien? I here it's a quality product and one of the quieter performance systems, thanks in advance, Putt

 

i had a dmc dule on 2000 400ex and a k&n air filter and stage 1 jet kit and no one could keep up with me on a hoped up 400ex it's that good . I raced 2 or 3 stock 400ex and allwas got a good 31/2 to 4 quad lingths ahead of them . dmc is alot of money vs other brands but you will be glad you spent the extra money.

 

i have aliens on my v and they r awesome love the power they gave me but i will tell u that they r loud they make a quiet core but i didn't get one i like they way it sounds. i would tell anyone to get these they sound just awesome like a harley lol.

 

I had them on my V and they are a good product,, but are LOUD! I've ridden with some buddys that had the HMF and another brand, Muzzy I think? I cant remember? I liked both of theirs better because they wernt as loud and we all had about the same Power.. Also the Aliens have stickers instead of a side plates and the right side sticker would always burn off the muffler. So If? or When you order tell them you want a dozen extra muffler stickers unless they changed to a plate?~lol... ~coop

I also have the alien duals. Great pipe setup and install is a breeze, very loud, but not too loud. Along with the 10 extra stickers, have them throw you in a few sets of pipe endcap stainless hex bolts. 4 out of 8 worked thier way out some how. Its darn near a year old! Doesnt matter though, maybe someone else will read it who is looking into dmc exhaust. I also had some of the same problems you guys had. The right side (rear) exhaust sticker came off of mine too. That could be from the right side or rear cylinder exhaust running too hot because i wasnt jetted correctly. Also 2 bolts came loose on the left exhaust but i only lost 1 luckily. And no, they are not quiet. They are one of the loudest if not the loudest exhaust for the 700V. I think the exhaust is crap IMO.
PS. Im not running them anymore. Changed exhausts!
