In atvscene they had an interview with Mike Penland and he told them that kawasaki is going to release a new quad this year, similar to a 400 EX.

 

It is about time. I would like to see a bigger thumper from The Big K. But it would be nice if they would come out with two new quads. One being a new 400cc motor for the MX and CC scene and a KLR 650 motored quad to blow the Bomarier (or whatever that thing is called away). Me personally would take the 650. Better yet a KX 500 motored quad. Opps I was dreaming, if they won't do a 250 stroke they sure won't to a 500. Anyway I hope they make it look similar to the Tecate-4 which in my opinon is the best looking quad followed by the Mojave/Lakota. Hey the 400EX styling was based on the TRX 250R.

 

I would love to have a big green 400 thumper! Something to compete with the the 400EX. If they come out with one, my Mojave is gone! As much as I like it, it is dated. Hopefully the new bike will be in Team Green colors! People are always commenting how nice the Y2K Mojaves look. They should have done that a log time ago.
