Pics of the P650 "Up the creek"
Thanks Kawidan!
I like the Armordillo a lot for the type of stuff I need a skid plate for - I know that sounds strange but I'll try to explain. I don't take hard impacts to the skid plate as much as I slide over stuff like rocks and logs. The Armordillo is super "slickery" and glides right over stuff, where metal plates have a tendency to gouge. The Armordillo doesn't dent either - I've had it on for two seasons and so far no damage. If your were doing some major impacts the Armordillo does have some flex and you could possibly get it to deflect enough to hit a component. I've never hit anything that hard, so I don't know if it's possible. As you can see in the creek pics, I don't ride softly. Having said all that, I wouldn't buy anything else now that I have one.
Peace,
Sgt_Rock
