Bayou 220 Idling Problem
#2
I have a Bayou 220 and had the same problem 3 years ago, and I don't think it is uncommon for the Bayou. Funny thing is mine had had just been overhauled (unfortunately by a backyard mechanic whom I was told did good work - got Fu***d on that because he couldn't figure out why mine was doing the exact same thing as yours is - after he put it back together. It ran better before I let him work on it than when he was finished.) Anyhow, I couldn't figure it out myself- plus I'm no mechanic. Had to take it to a real shop. Dunno what they did , so I guess all my babbling is for nothing. But I'd like to know how you fix it. Keep us posted!

Yeah thanks for yer info. I talked to my dad about getting some ignition wrenches from work so we could speed up the idle. We are also going to clean out the carborator (I can't spell) with some cleaner. And besides did you ever get yours stuck in a lake or summerged in water. Well a year ago I went and forgot to put the parking brake on it and it rolled down into the pond and completely submerged it. I got it out with the bobcat and worked on it for 3 days before I got it fixed. Anyway it could have somthin to do with that, so what do you think.
