You are wise to ask about which exhaust is worth it. I have read that some mods actually lower horsepower. Good luck.

If i were you i would just wait for the all of the exhaust companies to make there pipes, that way you can see who makes the best and worst. I know that HMF makes a good dual and a slip on pipe. Yoshi is real close to the making there dual pipes and my bet is on them making the best ones. My first mod will be some better shocks, that will help you better than anything. Just search around and see who has the best. DMC makes some duals, thats the kind of pipe that Brock Parker uses in the GNCC utility unlimited class and hasnt lost yet.

A $20 primary spring will give better stall at the bottom and more RPM's on top.

Hey Kevin, were you the one who is using a brown primary in your V? I took the red one out because it was just too abrupt on the engagement from a stop. Thanks.

Best mod you can buy is called wait. Dont jump on these first mods that are out there, better will come.Time and research will produce better quality and power.

That's true to a point, but I was getting pulled on top end by 3+ quadlengths by my brother's piped Banshee until I did a simple primary spring change. Now my front tires are equal with his rears for under $30. Polaris brown primary - $20, six 1" univents mounted on the airbox - $7. Picked up 2 quadlengths, half-hour install time.

Doc, you just can't go too radical with the springs on these things. The Polaris' engage gradually, but the 700's slam all at once making them unrideable if too much spring is used.

Kevin M- Cant beat that for $30.00. Im talking more about spending major cash. For $30.00 you cant go wrong. I spent that just on extra V- FORCE decals to put on. I just dont want to buy anything and then find out theres better out now .

Hi Kevin-

I just got a V-Force tonight. I have a Prairie 650 and I'm new to sport quads. Please explain in detail the modification you are talking about. Where do you get the spring? Does it effect your bottom end power? What are univernts?

Thanks,

Chris

I bought the polaris plain spring I should have that today I did'nt like the polaris brown it did'nt engage till almost 3500 rpm it just seems like to much strain on the tranny, plus it was a pain to use reverse. I have the EPI red in now and that engages at 2800 rpm it's still a little high so I'll put in the brown spring and let you guys know how it is.
