Default antifreeze to carbs?

i got a vforce 3 weeks ago, i have owned 2 250r,s 2 lt500r,s and z400 and i think this is the best handling bike i have ever owned
i dont know if its because its so heavy but i like how it flys over the whoops. when i was jetting the carbs for the dmc pipe i noticed it had a line running to both barbs with antifreeze can anyone tell me if this is california emissions crap or do all vforces have this and does it affect the performance? and i would also like to know how kawasaki would detune the motor and what we can do to retune it and get the most power out of it
thanks in advance for your help

Reroute the carb heater hose. Check out Shaneb pictures on how to do it.

It's meant to warm the carbs in cold weather. At least that's what I think it's for.
