Default KFX 700 Questions!

I just picked my new KFX700 yesterday! I can't wait to take it in the morning and start breaking it in! I have a couple of questions! I was reading about the Override switch, and I am not sure If I understand what it does an when you would us it. Can someone clue me on what it's for?

Also, how closely should I follow the break in procedures in the owners manual? I have owned lots of dirt toys in the past and have always just taken it easy on them the first few hours, and now run them at any one RPM for extended periods and just whacked them on full throttle a little at a time and then backing off. Keeping the machine not over half throttle for the first 10 hrs. or 60 miles seems a bit extreme!

I sure would appreciate some feedback?

Thanks Alan

The Override button is for Reverse only. It alows you to back up faster.

There are lots of different oppinions on how to break a Quad in. I have always gone with the 1 tank of gas rule and then just don't hold it pegged for a mile during the first few rides. Short full throttle bursts are OK.

Good luck, you will love your 700.
