Hey Tarrat, Great job on the bumper. I didn't get that bumper because I thought it may block off too much air from reaching the radiator. I got the desert bumper from prm and it's built pretty solid, but it won't keep sticks out of the radiator like yours will. If you bend those shrouds out further you might be able funnel even more air through the rad. Do you ever ride at wayne Nat'l? I'm out there most weekends at Camp Ohio lot 49 look me up. I'll show you some sweet trails!

Tarrat thanks so much for the awesome web page and very helpful info. It is one thing to read info. about different gadjets that we all buy but the way you show step by step and explain things is great. You Force looks G R E A T!!! It sounds like you have a great time working on it as well as riding and racing. This is a great attitude its all about having fun and just getting out there and tearing it up. Thanks again, and please keep us informed of any new changes or race updates. I will be racing my first HareScramble on Sat. at JackFrost in Penn. I am very excited to truly test my VForce, I'll posts results and commentary, though it will never compare to your incredible accounts.

Very nice. The vents on the hood were a great idea also.

Default My IMS, Vents & Allum shrouds on my V-Force Pixs

Hey thanks Bruce 403,
Actually the GNCC race we raced last week was right near Wayne Nat'l, I think,... about only a few miles from there I believe. My riding buddies and kids have been hounding me to put together a weekend camping trip down there at Wayne Nat'l, I have called and gathered most of the info for the area. We are planning to go down either the first or second weekend in August. I will definitely keep ya posted when we come down and we can meet up...that'll be cool. Maybe we can even get a weekend spot near you or something. There should be about a dozen of us coming down...few bikes too. It would be great to have you has a guide. When we get near the August date, I will touch bases with you. Thanks again for the offer.

Yea your right on the shrouds, so I made another set that are about 1" longer with about a 40 degree bend to flair the opening up to and out to the inside width of the bumper...they look great also. I will use them for TT and some MX that I will dabble in. They only take a couple minutes to swap out. I kept these ones straighter to reduce the open area as to keep the mud and sticks that we encounter in the Cross Country type racing from getting into the radiator.

Thanks to the rest of you, for the nice comments on my site...glad you can find it either useful or enjoyable. I / we are really having fun with our renewed interest in ATV-ing and I just enjoy putting it up in hopes it may help somebody out one day. I won't promise to keep it fresh all the time, but I'll do my best to put new items and any mods that I do on there for reference.

Man...I know what its like to sit and wonder what something looks like, or is it worth it, and that sort of thing...I'll do my best to be fair and accurate with my postings. My show season starts up in a few weeks so I will be really busy until mid August, so I may have to back off my riding, racing & atving a little...well some any way. I will be able to squeeze the next two GNCC races in though. I am kind of in a pinch for this weeks race, in that my kids have gone down to Florida for six weeks to visit with their grandparents and Aunt/Uncle. So now I have no pit crew, no one to drive back, or anybody to come out and " to identify and claim the body" should I do something stupid...LOL! I hate going to races and racing by myself, should something happen. However one of my riding buddies thinks he may be able to work out the details with his work and come along with me to Virginia this weekend.

Hey eddmunds you can Email me at either traber@valkyrie.net or aeroworks@valkyrie.net , I will try to help with questions if I can...remember I am not a "pro or know it all" and just basically figure this stuff out as I go. If you do mail me it may sit a day or so as I am quite a busy person, and I will be leaving this Thursday to head for the Virginia race.

I'll fill ya guys in as to whether I survive or kill myself this weekend...well if I survive anyway....

Anybody else going ??? maybe I'll bump into ya...both on and off the track...he he!

later .........tarrat
