Default Another Idea on the 650 cooling issue

I am surprised I have not seen this here.........or maybe I missed it.Has anyone tried the inline coolers that are available for dirt bikes? It looks to me like it is metal and it just helps dissipate heat as the coolant passes thru it.The claims are 10-20 degrees.Looks like you could install it in a hose easily.Anyone.....Anyone....

I mentioned these before on another post, I haven't had a chance to try them... I've considered having some made that would replace more of the very long radiator hose... it could be a foot long or more, rather than 2", they would be very easy to make with a section of bar stock or schedule 80 aluminum pipe & a lathe... I don't have either, but I like to design things to keep my local machine shop busy... I also thought that a car / truck heater core mounted in front of the stock radiator would more than tripple the surface area, & amount of coolant... Have A GREAT Day ...WAM

I did install a second rad in front of the orginal. Cured the heating problem but beware getting air out of system was a job my dealer had to fix for me.
