Default Need advise on the P650

First I'd like to say what a great forum! Just what I need to spend more money!
I have a few questions I hope someone will help me with; I have a Praire 650 that's just about out of the 6 month warranty.Should I consider buying the extended warranty for this machine?
I think they sent me somthing about 2 years for 450.00. Can I buy this anywhere and for a better price?
When I took my atv in for the first service I complained about the noise on the right side of the motor.
As soon as I start her that black cover emits a knocking noise. Loud when cold. The dealer said they
all do that? (They always say that!) So do they all do that? Any advise would be very helpful.

Do a search on here for the ext. warranty. There is a place in Texas( the Mule Barn???) they had a 4 yr warranty for $350.I get a knock out of mine its had it since i got it but i don't think it's terribly loud.If you think it's really loud take the cover off and check it out or have the dealer do it. Check out Nyroc's site it has lots of valuable info on the 650. Have fun and ride safe...

Mine does'nt have the knock you describe. I have personaly found the warranty to be worthless. I never had a problem with it except the belt, and it wasnt covered. Actually everyone I ride with that has a problem with there quad (its not covered) not just Kawasaki but pretty much all brands. If it is covered you normaly have to go through a big hassle as well. Some may disagree but this is my observation. Within 6 months you probably have a good idea if you have a lemon.

This is the number. Ask for Allen. Do me a favor and tell him Martin told you. I'm fixing to drive up there (1 1/2 hours) to get my 650 worked on. Want to score some points with him haha

I'm taking it in to get the knock in my primary checked out. I think the shoes are worn. I'm not taking it in till the 1st of july. I will let you know how it turns out.
