oil filters?
#2
Your Kawasaki filter is a good filter & it does move more oil than a Fram. Frams must not be good oil filters, as they always come in last in comparison tests. K&N is a good filter but you will pay for it, priced too high for a paper filter.
The best oil-filter that I have tried is not cheap but is washable & reuseable for the life of your 4wheeler. It is a Scotts Performance Stainless Steel Micronic Filter Cloth which in most cases will give you about 3 times better filtering over any paper filter. The outer housing has air-fins & those fins do help with keeping the oil to run at a cooler temp, I have noticed that the fan comes on about half as much with this Scotts oil filter installed. Check it out at www.scottsperformance.com if you are interested in using a great oil filter.
