They sound awesome! I started it up without jetting and had a little white smoke, thought maybe it was burn- off from the factory at first, but after 5 minutes it continued. So I went to my dealer and got 142/138 jets, he had no 137'S. No more smoke, idles excellent, and sounds incredible through-out the power band. I only got to ride a few hundred yards, so I can't really give a performance report yet, but I would say it's definetely pulling harder all the way. Looks great, sounds great. Not too loud, close to limit of 94db I bet though. This was the first time I had ever really done any ATV work, besides general maintenance. I thought it was pretty easy(carb screw was a pain). Am I correct in the my thought of jetting, if I had white smoke I was probably running lean? I don't want to hurt my quad, so is there a way to make sure I'm jetted correctly? I think it's o.k. Overall very satisfied, can't wait to find out the performance change. Thanks for any advice, and Thanks to 2lman for help.

Nice! I actually enjoyed the new smell burning off them the other night, reminded me of when it was new. I love the way they sound too. Did yours come with spark arrestors? Were they stamped with the USFS stamp? I can't hep you with the jetting question, but I'm sure someone else here can. I'm just heading out for a full day of woods riding and a wicked sand pit along the way.
