can I use my K&N rechage kit for my Twin Air Filter, anyone know?? [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Default Twin Air Filter

I heard on another forum that you definately don't want to use the K&N charger on the Twin Air... Use the foam filter oil for your stock or similar filter...Have A Good One...WAM

Default Twin Air Filter

2003650 uses the kand n recharge kit all the time on his twin air and loves it. I think you have talked to him before. He is from the clinton area I think.

I wouldnt use it. Its made for a completely differant kind of material. I use PJ1 foam oil on my Twin Air.

I use the k and n oil and filter cleaner on my twin air.... haven't had any problems yet..... just don't use to much oil.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Thanks for the reply's, I have both PJ1 & K&N oil & cleaner, sounds like both will work so I'll just keep what I have until it's gone.. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] Seems reasonable to me both would work being I'ts just oil that blocks the dust & crap from getting through.. I could be wrong though

Default Twin Air Filter

I have the TwinAir cleaner solvent and oil, I don't have any experience using other stuff but think the TwinAir system is definately worth the money. The oil is great and gets real tacky quickly and provides excellent coverage. Definately worth the money and the peace of mind knowint it works the way its supposed to.
