V for me
Hi ridinsmooth..
I think the V is sprung too stiff for riders under 150 lbs. You might be ok. I weigh 200 and find it just right for myself. Wether the V is for you or not mostly depends on the type of riding you do. Theres no way I can keep up with the lighter sport bikes on the mx track and it seems to heavy to be all that great of a duner but the V seems most at home on trails and thats the type of riding that I do. It fits me like a glove and I love it. Hope this helps! good luck

V for me
I'm a little taller , but weigh about the same(162). My V was really stiff at the factory settings. After adjusting front and rear to the lightest settings, and lowering the tire pressure a bit, it's great for trails and small jumps. But the back will bottom out on anything over about 3 foot. If I stiffen the back, to prevent it from bottoming out, then it's too stiff in the woods. In addition, it is not easy to adjust the back shock on the fly. You are suppossed to remove it to adjust it. Some people use a hammer and punch. You can get the details on NYROC"S page. I haven't had any problem with the front.
