Greetings all. I just upgraded from a 98 Bayou 400 to a 03 p650. Just trying to get some opinions for the first affordable upgrade to make. New muffler, air filter etc.. Where will I get the most bang for my buck?

New tires (1st and foremost, the stock Dunlops are crap)...check out the mudlites. The EPI black spring in the clutch will give alot of help to the belt and to low end power. Holeshot module for low end torque and power. Nyroc's exhaust. And the list could go on but start with these and your on your way.

New tires- approx. $300
EPI black spring- $20-$30 (nyroc's site tell's you how to put it on and gives pictures)
DG Holeshot module- $99
Nyroc's exhaust - Free if you have the right tools (again check out his site)

Congrats on the new Beast.........you will and probably already do enjoy it.

 

..Get a carb 'Jet Kit' to stop the spitting/sputtering when its cold out...very cold blooded machine...I got the jet kit and its like a different machine...

 

I AGREE WITH MEANGREENMUDMACHINE. THE TIRES ARE A MUST. THE BLACK SPRING FROM EPI IS A MUST. THE HOLESHOT MOD FROM DIAMOND G RACING IS FOR SURE A MUST. I RUN THE PENLAND BIG GUN FULL EXHAUST AND LOVE IT, IT'S NOT TO LOUD BUT IT HAS A GREAT SOUND. IF YOUR NOT WILLING TO PAY $400.00 FOR IT THEN DO THE NYROC EXHAUST MOD, IT WILL REALLY HELP THE MACHINE OUT TOO. DIAMOND G RACING HAS THE BIGGER SNORKLE FOR IT TO, IT GAVE ME 2 MPH. ON THE TOP END. GET A TWIN AIR, AIR FILTER. YOU CAN DO THE DYNOJET JET KIT IF YOU LIKE. IT WILL SAVE YOU MONEY IF YOU JUST BUT BIGGER MAINS AND SHIM THE NEEDLES THOUGH.. HOPE THIS HELPS.......
