Hello all,
What is the best paddle for V-Force that allows good turnability? My rappy friend has taller haulers and commented that powersliding and turning can be tough but dragging is a blast. Hillclimbing is the ticket for my rappy buddy but I love powersliding so turnability is important to me. Clearly compromises will be had to get turnability but what is the best blend of hookup and turnability yet still make it up hills following my friends. BTW, I am 250 lbs and will be riding oregon dunes.

In the sand my opinion is that you just dont powerslide. In bowls the last thing you want is for your rear end to slide. The "V" paddles are designed for turning becuse they prevent power sliding. Whatever you get, it should have a minimum diameter of 22" I dont know anybody besides Skat that makes a 22" V. I dont recommend V paddles, but those would be the best ones. Because of the wieght (250), your best bet would be to special order 24" haulers from skat. Otherwise for lighter riders (140-180) get some 22" haulers. I bought some today and will be testing them tomorrow. My comments are based on experiences on other machines.

I was wrong about sliding. The V paddles do slide more, which is good for turning but bad for bowls. Anyway I got to try my haulers and I dont have another paddle to ocompare them to but I think they worked really well. here's what I noticed
they were heavier than expected but lighter than the holeshots for sure
the douglas .190 rims did not fit well, I had to enlarge the holes a little bit
I could not do a donut at all, not good for sharp turns
could wheelie by sitting towords back only
great traction, I climbed some stuff I didn't think would be possible, and outran some yammy's
I tested them with 2 riders (total 350 lbs) and could still climb really well
in conclusion I think these are great paddles but if you are really into turning get some 22" V's. As for me I like the haulers.
