will a 650 fit in.........
The back of my Chevy Silverado short bed? I know it would normally but i have a Better Built Toolbox in it and wonder if it would sit on the tailgate? I'm REALLY REALLY REALLY REAALY hopen the dealer works out a way to get me financed monday mornin so i can maybe pick it up monday evenin.
My main fear is that the financing go through, i get there and go to load it up, and the dang things won't fit in the bed with the tailgate down and sitton it..... Any idears???
thanks and say one to the good guy upstairs for me!!!
I wouldn't of been so dissappointed if the dealer didn't let me hop on it for a quick test ride!!!!! that thing will make my meager little rancher look like a schoolgirls play toy!!!!! The front end would litten up with just a hint of throttle!!!! I couldn't even get to 1/4 throttle due to a friggin cop trolling around the dealers shop. I could tell he was looking to show his "authourity".....
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE MR. JESUS!!!! Let the good ppl at Mac's sweet talk the bank for me!!!!
That sucker is just ......... words cannot describe......
I believe all the hype now

if you have 6' 5" it will work, if not, you'll have to pull your tool box out... I have one in a long bed, with a tool box, the front bumper is right against the toolbox, and the rear tires are against the tailgate (closed) there is not any more room. standard chevy tailgate is 20" long when open...

Let me go measure and check i've got bolth of them here.
Overall length of a prairie 650 is 84.8 inches......... over all length of a chevy bed (6 1/2 foot bed) 78 inches with the tail gate shut........so if you wanna leave the tailgate down sure it will fit. Otherwise it's trailer land for you to.

The short box trucks are nice but in the case with both Chevy & Dodge, either a 1/2 or 3/4 or 1 ton the boxes are only 6.5 ft long. Put a tool box in there & you loose even more space. Now on the Ford Superduty trucks ( F250/350 ) the shortbox is 6 3/4 ft long & my Prairie 650 fits with a few inches to spare.
The Ford 1/2ton short boxes are also 6.5ft long.
